🛠 How Your Personalized Photo Frame Is Made
1. Solid Oak Is Cut to Size
Each frame begins with solid Oak. The pieces are carefully measured and cut on a miter saw so the corners fit closely and create a strong frame designed for long-term display.
2. Personalization & Laser Engraving
Names, initials, dates, and the selected design are prepared from the details provided with the order. The personalization is then laser engraved directly into the Oak rather than printed or applied as a surface layer.
3. Hand Sanding
After engraving, every piece is sanded by hand. This smooths the surface, cleans the engraved area, and prepares the wood for an even finish.
4. Color & Italian Lacquer
The frame is finished in Oak, Dark Walnut, or Black. A professional Italian lacquer is applied as the final protective coating to enhance the Oak grain and preserve the finished surface.
5. Frame Assembly
The finished Oak frame is assembled with a clear acrylic front, a hardboard back, and retaining tabs that hold the photograph and backing securely in place.
6. Quality Check & Packing
Before packing, our team checks the engraving, corners, finish, acrylic front, and backing. Production normally takes 5–7 business days. US shipping is free from Minnesota.

- For a 4 × 6 in photo: outer frame approximately 8.7 × 6.7 in (22 × 17 cm)
- For a 5 × 7 in photo: outer frame approximately 9.8 × 7.9 in (25 × 20 cm)
- For an 8 × 10 in photo: outer frame approximately 12.6 × 10.6 in (32 × 27 cm)
The first measurement is the photograph size. The second measurement is the approximate outside size of the complete frame.

Natural variations in the Oak grain make every frame slightly different. The completed piece is designed for a mantel, shelf, bedside table, or another special place where the photograph can remain part of everyday life.
A personalized frame can also be paired with a wedding guest book or a custom photo album to preserve more memories from the same occasion.
