Can I change the "the Adventure" wording?
Yes — the lettering is fully customizable. Keep "the Adventure," or replace it with your own phrase, a quote, or a trip name. We redraw the layout around your text and show it in the proof before engraving.
Can we write "Engaged" with our date, like in the photo?
Absolutely — "Engaged" with the engagement date works especially well with this design. You can also add a wedding date, the date of your first trip together, or any short line. Type it exactly as it should appear in your personalization notes.
How does the design look on different wood colors?
The scene is engraved into any of the 7 cover finishes. On Dark Walnut (shown) the engraving creates a warm tonal contrast against the grain; on lighter finishes like Oak or Natural Wood the lines read softer and more delicate. Every finish keeps the full design.
Can I use this as a stick-in travel scrapbook?
That's exactly what it's built for. The pages are 230 g/m² acid-free archival cardstock — thick enough to mount photos, maps, plane tickets, postcards, and Polaroids side by side, with room to write beside them. The included marker and photo corners let you start right away.
How many photos fit per page?
Depending on orientation, Small accommodates one standard 4 × 6 in photo per page, Medium up to two, and Large up to three. Small also suits Instax and Polaroid collections; Large works best for big maps and multi-photo layouts.
How many pages should we choose?
One sheet = two pages. 30 sheets (60 pages) suits a single big trip or honeymoon; 50 sheets fits an ongoing "our adventures" collection; 80 sheets (160 pages) is the maximum, chosen at checkout. The 4-ring binder opens, so pages can be removed or rearranged.
Is this a good engagement or elopement gift?
The mountain-and-tent design works especially well for proposals, engagement parties, adventure elopements, and honeymoons — anywhere a couple is marking the beginning of something. The engraved date can be whichever moment you're celebrating.
Will we see the design before it's engraved?
Always. Within 12–24 hours of ordering you'll receive a free digital proof with your names, date, and wording exactly as they'll be engraved. Production starts only after your approval — and small adjustments at this stage are free.

The craftsmanship in this piece is beyond words I can describe properly. I had an idea and it was executed beyond my expectations. I wanted the Golden Gate Bridge as the focal point and they delivered! Great communication, I was sent 2 different designs to choose from. Fast shipping, the scrapbook was meticulously wrapped to avoid any damage. Even included a paint pen for the black paper! I have this book on display and receive so many compliments about how beautiful it is. If you have it in your cart buy it immediately! I honestly think they don’t charge enough for the quality of a product they are offering.
I am so very pleased with my album! The craftsmanship was beautiful and very detailed. I haven't put any pictures in it yet as it's for a specific time but have put it out to look at just because it's so pretty. It turned out so beautiful and just as described.
