Can you engrave OUR mountains — the range where we're getting married?
Yes, and it's one of the most-requested versions of this book. Send us the skyline that matters to you — your peak, your park, the ridge from your first hike — and we'll redraw the panorama to match it. Custom scenes are free; just describe the place (or attach a photo) when you order, and your preview will show the redrawn range.
We're eloping with a dozen guests — isn't a guest book too much?
The opposite: with a small ceremony, the book becomes the album of the whole day. Pick 30 sheets, let each guest take a page — a Polaroid and a few lines — and fill the rest yourselves with photos from the trail, the permit, the view. Small size (6″ × 8.5″) even packs reasonably into a daypack.
Where do our names sit — over the mountains or above them?
The composition places your names and date so they read clearly without hiding the ridgeline — typically in the open sky area of the cover. Type them in the ENGRAVING field exactly as you want them, pick one of 20 fonts, and the 12–24 hour preview shows the exact placement before we engrave.
Which cover color makes the peaks stand out most?
All 7 finishes carry the full panorama — the choice is about mood. On warm tones (Oak, Walnut, Mahogany) the ridgelines engrave as deep brown against the grain; on Black or Dark Walnut the laser reveals the lighter wood underneath, so the range appears in light lines, like peaks at dusk. Your preview can help you decide — ask us to show two options.
How many pages will our guest list need?
Guests use both sides of each sheet: photo layouts fit 1-2 entries per side, lined and blank pages 2-3. 30 sheets cover an elopement or micro-wedding with room to spare, 45 a standard reception, 60 a large celebration — leftover pages tend to become the honeymoon-hike section.
Will we approve the design first?
Every time: a digital preview lands within 12–24 hours of your order, with the panorama, names, and date exactly as they'll be engraved. Production starts only on your go-ahead, and preview-stage changes are free.
